An Update Finally!!

Well where to begin....I put a bunch of pictures up of Keylee. Most of them are some of her favorite things like pillows that she loves to lay on and pretend she is asleep. She loves to get into our pop when she thinks we arent looking. She loves shoes and will put anyones on. She loves taking a bath and she loved swimming in her tiny pool which is actually supposed to be a sand box but it works great as a pool. She is growing everyday it's hard to believe how big she is. She is so independent and loves the NO word. She is starting to put words together and making sentences. She has so many nicknames. We call her Shug (of course) Shuggy, Key Key, Keyks, Doogs (thats Gavins for her), and Key. She is hardly called Keylee the poor child will never know her name.

We are getting ready to move this coming up weekend back to pocatello. I am excited and nervous because we haven't been anywhere but Soda since we had Keylee. School starts the 25th and Gavin and I are both going back. For the past month we have had Brooke and Braxie with us and it has been fun. Shuggy loves Brax and she loves to torment him. There is a little update, I will try to update more often.

Well it certainly has been an interesting couple of months. Christmas was definatley hard.. I didnt have my Oma there with us to share out laughter and the joy of christmas although I know she was watching over us all. We recieved a letter in the mail with a small angel ornament attached. When I opened it there was the letter we read at her funeral and then there was another letter with that. It was infact a poem and it was about how she was going to spend christmas with Jesus this year and at the bottom of this poem was her signature. My whole family just broke down. Does this mean Oma had an idea that she wasn't going to be around for christmas? It's kind of a hard concept for us to grasp only because we expected to have many more years and christmases with her. Another person that wasnt there with me to celebrate was my one and only :) We had seperate christmases this year and it was hard. We have had a very nice, long talk about everything and we both know what we need to do. You really dont realize what you have until it's gone physically and mentally and that is something I have had to learn the hard way.

Well now for a Hemmert Family update:
Gavin and I are starting school next week. I'm a little nervous but I'm ready to get back into the swing of things and I know Gavin is too!! Keylee is getting so big. She still says DAD!! with all the power in her body. She will occasionally say "Done" and "Mom". She can also say duckie but its "DUDDY" and doggie is also "Doddy" we try to talk to her like a big girl because that is how she acts. She is so grown up and now I am finally able to put little pig tails in her hair. I dont think anyone can truly realize how that excites me because I have been waiting so long for the poor child to grow hair just so I can put in piggies!! She loves to dance. She loves her baby dolls and is very good about giving them there bottle and sippy. SHe has not been on a bottle since she turned a year but we still have the binkie to break her of but I think that will come in time!! She loves Henna C and now she is very good and flashing the meanist glare you have ever seen. I will try to get a picture of it just to show you how mean yet funny and cute at the same time. Well I hope everyone had a good christmas and New Year. It was very different for everyone but I think everything happens for a reason..Love you all stay tuned for more pics :)
